Preparation Before Operating System

  • The machine should be kept clean.
  • Wood and materials are to be kept at room temperature.
  • When the humidity of the processed material is too high, it will affect the adhesion quality.
  • When Edge banding, to give the appropriate pressure to the workpiece, not enough pressure will affect the banding quality.
  • Store hot melt glue in a cool, dry place.
  • When Hot melt glue is cool, it should not be forced to open the melting pot cover or the glue adjusting knob to avoid damage to the machine.
  • Before edge banding, ensure the hot melt glue in the melting pot is already standard melting.
  • The diameter of the inner arc shall not be less than 40mm.

Preparation and Commissioning

  • 1.1 Turn the machine to the appropriate power source, turn on the power switch, the switch indicator lights up, and the temperature control meter displays. The temperature rises after the self-test.
  • 2.1 Adjust the heating temperature of the temperature control table (the temperature depends on the melting temperature of the hot melt adhesive, and the machine uses 120-180 °C medium and low-temperature hot melt adhesive). When the heating reaches the set temperature, the motor switch light will illuminate and press the switch motor to start. It is recommended that the machine be preheated for 10 minutes before the Edge is sealed before starting the motor to allow the hot melt to melt completely.
  • 3.1 Insert the air pipe and adjust the air pressure to 0.4-0.6MPa (the machine has been adjusted before leaving the factory).

Operation Mode

1. Adjust the height of the edge strip

  • Relax the knob of the front limiter (Figure 1)
  • Put the edge band into the measuring wing of the height limiter, press the lower limiter to the side strip, and lock the knob (Figure 2, Figure 3)
  • Referring to the height of the workpiece, place the workpiece under the platen wheel and press the platen wheel and the workpiece to the main machine board surface, leaving a suitable spacing and locking the adjustable When adjusting, loosen the adjustable handle (Fig. 4). After the adjustment is completed, lock the handle.

 

2. Adjust the amount of glue

  • When the temperature of the edge banding machine reaches the working temperature, cut a side strip (about 20CM/8″) into the test, adjust the glue amount knob to the appropriate amount, and let the melt glue on the edge strip evenly apply.

4. Operations

  • When the edge band is attached to the workpiece, pressure should be applied moderately to increase the sticking effect.
  • Confirm that there is no residue in the edge banding machine, and open the start switch of the edge banding. When the hot melt adhesive in the tank reaches the designated temperature, the indicator light (1) of the motor switch button lights up. You can press (1).
